Lindsay Lohan - Waiting for Calling from Seth Rogen

Lindsay Lohan is waiting for calling from Seth Rogen... LiLo says it's 'scary' to be not working on films.

Lindsay Lohan says in the April 2009 issue of Nylon magazine, "I'm talking to [lots of people]," "One is Sean Penn — I spoke to him again the other day."

Lindsay Lohan adding (However, one actor is apparently not as interested) "We're trying to get Seth Rogen for this project, but Seth won't call us back," "So call us back, Seth, if you're reading this!"

Lindsay Lohan said."It's scary when you realize, 'Oh my God, I'm not working. And have a house to pay for now,". She has been in headlines for less desirable reasons (including the recent, retracted warrant for her arrest for an apparent parole violation)

So until things pick up (or Rogen calls her back), Lohan said she doesn't mind doing modeling work. "I love doing photo shoots," "I mean, if I could just sign with IMG and do ad campaigns and model more, I'd do that ... because that's fun for me. That's not work."

However, different kinds of photos are the ones that Lohan is more concerned about. Lindsay Lohan referred to tabloids as "the Burn Books of Hollywood," referencing Lindsay Lohan star-making turn in "Mean Girls."

Lohan said "There's not much I can do about the fact that I've become a kind of tabloid obsession," "I can't change that. And yes, the Web sites, the gossip pages, and all of that stuff have hurt my career — they're like the Burn Books of Hollywood.

"But I really don't feel like I should have to prove myself to anyone because of living out my college years in the public eye. I'm glad everything happened the way it did."
